Holograph letters from Silas to his brother Jesse N. Smith (1834-1906). The missives are largely concerned with Smith family and other personal matters. Four of the letters are from "Mother Smith," one is from Margaret Rollins to Mary J. and Emma W., and two are from Nancy M. Bollin to Mary J. West. Photocopies of the letters are also with the collection.
